========================================================== BS3 2011 -> 2012 recovery notes ========================================================== The mooring was launched on Oct 13, 2011 at 00:49:08 UTC. It was recovered on Oct 12, 2012 local, going into Oct 13 GMT. Arctic Winch ----------------- due to problems with the 2011 recovered CWPs, there was no Arctic Winch on this year's BS3. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ULS ---- use "Lukas" with newly installed Ips5Link software. BS3 Ips5 2012/10/15 17:32:30 (to about a few seconds): end deployment, using Ips5Link, button "End Deployment - Get Status" get status repeatedly: time identical to that of PC. Am I looking at PC time?? yes. Go to "special functions", "Show/set Date/Time" Instrument: 2012/10/15 17:47:00 PC 2012/10/15 17:57:53 Instrument is 10 min 53 seconds slow start to recover data through the serial port, but find that too slow even at 115KBaud. So I open the unit up and directly copy the "data" directory from the memory card. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WH300 --------- Used BBTALK to do the initial capture file for the clock check: the WH300 was 2 min 9 seconds slow. Used WinSC to download data. [BREAK Wakeup A] WorkHorse Broadband ADCP Version 16.31 Teledyne RD Instruments (c) 1996-2008 All Rights Reserved. >tt?
